Who am I?

Edward Swing is a writer of stories, software developer, avid gamer, and otaku. He has been a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism, learned taekwondo, traveled both within the United States and internationally, and studied diverse topics including astronomy, mythology, and mathematics. The father of three teens, he lives with several pampered cats.

RisuCon will have vendors, anime screenings, cosplay contests, free themed group photo shoots, a game room with tournaments, a kids (of all ages) activity area, a cosplay maker space, panels, and weather permitting: an awful lot of outdoor fun. Our vendor space is over 28,000 square feet alone! Why RisuCon? Risu means squirrel in Japanese. Japan is the source of so much of our fandom and inspiration, and there are a LOT of squirrels in Maryland.
